Mission: Cowgirl Up is a Cause-Related Charitable Fund dedicated to supporting young girls and women seeking advancement in the arts-whether in music, entertainment, film, or production industries. Rooted in the fearless, trailblazing spirit of the cowgirl, this fund empowers the next generation of creatives by providing scholarships, mentorship, and funding for programs that cultivate artistic talent and career opportunities.
Who We Support:
- Girls (ages 6-18) exploring their passion for the arts
- Women in creative industries seeking advancement or career transitions
- Programs & initiatives that promote education, training, and leadership in the arts
How We Make an Impact:
🎶 Scholarships & Grants – Funding for music lessons, film courses, acting workshops, and technical training
🎬 Mentorship & Career Support – Connecting young creatives with women leaders in music, film, and production
🎠Community & Outreach Programs – Supporting schools, nonprofits, and arts organizations that provide artistic opportunities for girls and women
Signature Event: The Cowgirl Up Fund is a part of the Annual Way Out West Festival that takes place in El Paso, Texas. Money raised through registration fees from the event’s Cornhole for a Cause Tournament and other event programs are donated to the Cowgirl Up Charitable fund to help support programs that empower women and girls in the arts.
Current Program funded by Cowgirl Up – “Girls in STEAM and Music: Making Waves workshop” at La Nube – El Paso’s Science Museum. The workshop specifically aims to support young girls in the areas of STEAM and Music.
